New member from Alabama

Hi all, new member here from down on the Gulf Coast. I don't have a crusing boat "yet", but hopeing to get one in the next couple of years. Live in Baldwin county about 10 miles from Mobile bay so I,m not to far from the water. Have a 19 ft center console for fishing and just boating with the grandkidds, retired from the Navy in 1998, made several Med. curises during my time in, always on carriers, I was in the avation rate. Always loved to walk around the marineas and talk to the crusiers, met some very intresting people. Spain and Greece were always my favorite countries to visit. Cheers

Welcome, wirerunner.

Cruising is a lot of fun, and you really do meet a lot of interesting people, as you noticed. It's a great community out there.

Aloha Wirerunner,
Welcome aboard! Retired Navy here too. Never on a carrier. Just a black shoe enlisted guy. Spent three years at Training Squadron Two in the late 60s though.
Kind regards,
JohnL
