New member - Lagoon 44

My name is Greg Kermeen,

I am currently hopeing to finalise the purchase of 2005 Lagoon 44 and begin the journey of learning to sail properly and safely, then venture into your magical cruising lifestyle.

Currently I live in Brisbane, Australia and until this purchase, have been a keen power boating fan, time is now more available to me hence my change to sail .

If anyone out there can give me some feedback as to the world cruising abilities of the Lagoon 44, it would be much appeciated

Hope to meet some of you over the next few years.

Regards
GK

Wonderful. It's not really magic. I'll bet you already knew that. Since you are no longer in a hurry you don't have to be any place. That really is magical! Be slow and take a long time to get everywhere. You won't miss anything that way.

There are just a million things you can explore. Some of them are even here. Poke around, read some, ask some questions, share some pictures of your new boat, and learn to talk Cat talk. If you end up on the other side of the world take a left and we will have us a cold one.

All the best!

Aloha Greg,
Welcome aboard! I can't help you at all about the Lagoon 44 but you might want to post in the multihull section to get more responses.
Kind regards,

G'Day Greg and welcome,
We've an English pal who's sailed his Lagoon 40 something from EU to Carib and now back over a 4 year period, with no issues and lotsa fun.
Hope you enjoy the boat and the freedom, keep us all posted.
Cheers
JOHN

Welcome aboard and contrary to what Paul says, sometimes it truly is magic.
