Thank you for accepting me in this community. I live in Rome, Italy, and I have been sailing (although intermittently) for the last ten years or so. I own a dinghy (a FJ) and a share of a open hull 22 feet boat, a Dutch Impala (nobody knows her, so never mind). My purpose for the next ten years is to sail more and more, possibly with a larger boat of my own.
All the very best,
Giorgio

Re: New Member
Welcome to CF Giorgio. If in Italy a FJ is a Flying Junior, that is what I first sailed 50 years ago.

Re: New Member
Hello, thank you everybody for the warm welcome. Yes, the FJ is the Flying Junior! There is a group of FJ enthusiasts on the Lake of Bracciano, where we have a sailing field. Last March I had the occasion to sail on the Lewisville Lake near Denton, Texas. A lot of fun!

If Boatman is of the 'Delusional'...group, I'm older than him so that makes me the "Dimentia" Grup. Welcome aboard...you'll enjoy this motley crew....
