Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here. Irons and ironing boards are made for those who are prejudiced against wrinkles. At my age and where I live wrinkles don't matter.
kind regards,

Re: New life, new adventures... moved aboard

OK, I'll admit to ironing some items over the years that I've lived aboard. Afterall, for thirty of the thirty-nine years my wife and I have been living aboard, we had jobs. Sometimes weddings, funerals, special events...., but we never had an ironing board, just a small iron tucked away. A thick terrycloth towel, better slightly damp, layed out on a table makes a fine ironing board.

A small travel iron is an essential part of my boat gear.... just coz I'm low budget don't mean I'm a slob....

I'm with you, but things are best when my iron doesn't come out more than once a year!
