New Guy on Forum and It Is in the Blood!

Hi: It's Daniel Thomey calling, been sailing a good number of years, great, great grandfather was sea captain, great grandfather was a sea captain, grandfather capsized and drowned while sailing coast of Newfoundland, father built brother and I toy sailboats before our sixth birthdays, it is indeed in the blood. I'm retirement age and looking forward to an adventure sailing the Caribbean. I'm pleased to have found this site. ---- Dan

Dan, wow, sounds like some real cool history in your family. Would love to hear a sea story. May be a favorite passed down in the family? or your own adventures as a lad on your "toy sailboat".
Cheers and welcome to the forum

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF Dan.

I hope, like Jimmy Buffet's "Son of a son of a sailor", you can chalk up many a mile, and stay one step ahead of the jailer.

Welcome Dan and let us know of your plans for the Carib. We may cross paths at some point and "need" to have a beer!
