New from Ohio

Hi, I'm relatively new to chartering, having chartered just 3 times previously with my husband and several other couples. Joined this because I saw - on a google search for info about a first charter from USVI - a possibly bad forum review dated July 20, 2016 about the boat/charter co. we were considering (Mighty Oak/fairwindsail). However, have not been able to locate on search of forum, despite using "search" function. Any advice on locating?

Re: New from Ohio

Welcome to the forum - most folks here are gentle with newbies if the questions are reasonable and yours is reasonable. I can not help you with your answer but there are number of folks who know the BVIS well

I am also from Ohio - grew up in the corn fields near Jeffersonville did my grad work at UC - yea I am a BEARCAT -

We retired 9 years ago and set sail and have been out ever since sailing over 30knm visiting probably 45 countries and thousands of ports. We did a Atlantic crossing in 2013 and now sailing the Black Sea - if we can help in anyway please let us know as we have made more mistakes than most and are still making them and learning -

good luck and GO BEARCATS

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Joan.

Try the "Google Custom Search" (under Search).
