Life is funny sometimes, I start training for my pilots license and end up with a boat. lol, well...

Welcome Kurt, at least with a boat if you start going down it doesn't happen so fast and you don't have to worry about the landing (unless you're going down Niagra Falls I guess)!

Its good to have you here. Air pilots make good sailors. They know how to prepare for take offs and landings and know how to use a checklist.
