Cool New boater in Sunny British Columbia

Hi All. My name is Paul Caron and my wife Susan and I lost our minds one day and purchased a 30' Islander Bahama sailboat. We had her out 15 times in just under two months and we're slowly working at fixing things up and replacing what needs doing. Just spent the last two days wiring and setting up a new GPS system.
Just want to say hello to all you fellow boaters and get ready - lots of questions coming your way!!

We had our boat in BC for 20 months and loved it. In fact I wish we had had more time there. I've been dreaming about going up again. Good luck with fixing the boat. I have a friend with an Islander on Vancouver Island. Nice boats.
Fair Winds,

Between us there was, as I have already said somewhere, the bond of the sea. Besides holding our hearts together through long periods of separation, it had the effect of making us tolerant of each other's yarns -- and even convictions. Heart of Darkness

Aloha Paul,
Welcome aboard! There are a few other Islander owners here that might be contacting you. You've got great cruising grounds.
Kind regards,
