New Boat Owners and Executing on our Liveaboard Plan

Ahoy!

Long time lurker and reader of the forums - now a full fledged registered member and ready to contribute.

My Wife and I just purchased a1982 Amel 48 and are refitting her in SoCal. We're very excited to be boat owners again - after a 4yr hiatus and a MUCH smaller coastal cruiser (33' Islander) >> we're back on track with a vessel that can carry us around the World in comfort and most importantly SAFELY.

Finishing up the bright work (Cetol and Varnish projects) as well as some new flooring, and all new upholstery - we should be ready to go sailing in less than 2 weeks.

Thanks for listening, again we're both very excited to be part of the forums and sailing community. Looking forward to making this life full-time!

Live Slow & Sail Safely

Best regards,
Jeremy and Erika
