My Own Identity at Last

Hello, everybody,

My name is Ann Cate. Jim and I have been married since March of '88. We left the US in March of '89, and have been cruising mostly in the Southwest Pacific ever siince. Here in the US for the past 6 months, we are returning tomorrow to Insatiable II (Jon Sayer custom 46' sloop), lying in Lake Macquarie.

I decided to stop making my rare posts under Jim's name and assume my own identity here. I can't begin to say how happy I am to be going home!

Best wishes to all of you

Ann

I thought Jim was rather more polite at times...

Re: My Own Identity at Last

Hi, guys, thanks for the warm welcome. Jacko, I remember seeing your vessel in Gladstone for many years, and Cairns last year. Thanks for the greeting.

Col, no, I'm afraid that of the two of us Jim is more circumspect, as well as kindly minded, and I'm a bit more of a crusty curmudgeon. I try not to be, but sometimes slip up big time!

Cheers,
Ann

Great to hear you are heading back to Insatiable... may we assume the rehab and physiotherapy have been going well? We will look froward to seeing you down in Tasmania again, sometime!
Cheers

Re: My Own Identity at Last

Welcome aboard Ann:

I probably raced against you in the ocean series off of SF Bay in the '80's. Sailed on a few boats including Summertime Dream, a Yankee 30 (whose name I forget), Friday, Wall Street Duck and a few others.
