I've been reading this forum for a while since every time I google something it leads me here.

Our family is looking at doing some cruising in South East Asia and hoping to learn some valuable information from this forum.

Welcome aboard, Mum! In addition to SE Asia, don't overlook the great sailing waters around Australia and French Polynesia. (If I had to pick my favorite sailing grounds, they would be: British Virgin Islands - Caribbean, Great Barrier Reef - AU, Grenadines - Caribbean's West Indies and French Polynesia. Thanks everyone.

I would like to sail the Pacific, but we are thinking we'll go west with the trade winds as most people seem to do.

I have only ever sailed in high latitudes so it is all new to me.

I am hoping that we will meet other people with kids in our travels.
