My first sailboat.

Hi,

I've posted a few times here, but I haven't owned a sailboat until now.

I responded to a thread to offer to help "ShadowRWolf" pull his engine and make some rudder bearings for him.

After speaking with him, he said that he was thinking about selling the boat.

I jumped at the chance, since I've been looking all over Guam for a boat to do some weekend and overnight sailing on.

Here are the threads and the boat in question:

yanmar yse8 rebuild

rudder bearing question

I just got her this weekend and am really excited to get her sail ready.

In the mean time, I can rent a sailing dinghy, an American 14. This will scratch the itch until I can get my boat ready.

So.......

Hello everyone.

Hey, Mitch, that's great! Amazing how things work out sometimes. We'll look forward to hearing about progress with your "new" boat.

Absolutely John,

I'll be doing some work this weekend on her. I'll take a lot of pics. I'm still putting together my to do list.
