Monterey Bay Colvic Sea Rover 1969

Hello from Monterey Bay

One year ago we purchased a 28ft Ken Evan's Sea Rover and wonder who else might be out here with the same vessel as ours? locally or across the country?

We are not just new to this vessel, but, new to sailing all the way around!

For me, best waterfront property EVER, for my husband, a journey of learning and growth! We have managed to sail her on our own, thus far, just a handful of times, (yes, navigating harbor, stand up boarders, kayaks, and currents still gives me a rush! And may I say I have learned the importance of the pole!) but we are most proud of coming this far!

We would love to meet others who treasure this vessel the way we do! We love history and tracing the history of our boat and the influence these vessels have had in the lives of others!

I hope to one day have the COURAGE to be the kind of sailors we see everyday on the bay and who are a part of this community!

Yours Truly

The Senta

Hi Ocean Girl!

Thanks and I figured out how to load up some photos of our old gal! We are in the process of restoring this old vessel - so all in progress (we have heard this one before huh! - are they ever not in a state of restoration? hahah)

Welcome and CONGRATS! Boat pics please... I think I saw an ad for this boat. If it's the same she looks pretty sweet.

Still learning this system! Would think the album is linked to my profile?

I loaded up a few photos in the album:

Colvic 28ft Sea Rover - The Senta

Not sure it is showing up or not?
