pirate Midwest to Florida

Very new to sailing and looking to get my first boat. Bought one for my son for a wedding present two years ago and that lit the fuse. Hoping that the knowledge of the members and information contained within will help me not make to many mistakes on my journey and soften the learning curve. I have lots of work to do . I apologize to the members and staff in advance for any moronic questions and hope everyone will understand I am just trying to learn.

Sweet. Your just the guy I need to talk to then. I thought it might be the guy who led with "dad, is that you?" But he did not include the word "moronic" anywhere in his post so I knew right away he must be an imposter.

Welcome from another in the midwest and remember the Mississippi River will let you go anywhere you want. Also a tip of the hat to Happy for the funniest post this long boring winter.
