Congratulation on your purchase. You are one step ahead of us. We would like to purchase a catamaran in the new future but we have no idea how to sail. We have been doing a lot of or research and reading on living aboard because this is our ultimate goal. We are located in Charlotte as well and will be doing our first basic sailing lesson on Lake Norman this weekend and later some training in Charleston. We will also be going to the Jacksonville, FL boat show in April to get a feel of what size boat best fits us ( ~34'-38'). We cannot wait!
