Question Marina - Condo Question

I want to live-aboard someday, but can't see how to get rid of absolutely all that "stuff" I've got...

Anyone had experience with marina-condos?

I have an older relative who can rent a room from me, keep an eye on the place and I'll have a land-based option a short walk from the boat.

This must be terribly expensive or hard to find, but maybe someone out there knows of a town where this works. Willing to re-locate to anywhere.

Really appreciate any advice, Thanks.

Getting rid of all that "stuff" is the first step.

I know some places in UK and Australia, but guess they are maybe too far away from home?
Good luck

Marina Condos

I just posted an ad on this site for our boat condo slip in Anacortes, Wa. It is 38' has a 6' overhang, and is 16'3" wide. The price is $125,000.00. We do have liveaboards in our condo association, and this location is ideal. Please let us know if you might have an interest. Please call Norm Chapman at 206-484-4309.

Dockominiums are fairly coomon. You may have trouble finding a bank to finance a hole in the water. Equity ownership may become a problem should the marina need to be dredged as you would be responsible for your share of the costs - This has happened in a marina in North Florida that silted in.
