Looking to buy a new sail boat

I live in Chicago Illinois and will be sailing in lake Michigan. The two boats that have cough my eyes are , The Jenneau 37.9 and the Beneteau 38. I sold my 31 beneteau a few years ago , a buyer saw her in winter storage and made me a offer, She came in first in her class in the Mac with the first owner, she was the first tall 31 . My wife is looking comfort and safety for my grandson. I am looking to sail to Wisconsin pick up my son and his wife and sail across to Michigan. When I was young I sail a Hobbie across the lake.

Welcome to the forum. Winter storage...what's that?

Re: Looking to buy a new sail boat

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here.
I'd go aboard both boats and take them for a test sail. Only way to choose it to see which one gives you most comfort. Just a statement but there certainly are lots more boats to choose from.
