Looking for Recommended Online Suppliers

Hi new to the Cruisers Forum
I have a Catalina C380 in Sydney Australia & have found online prices for equipment much cheaper in the US than in Oz -- does anyone have any recommendations of sites they have found
thanks

Aloha and welcome aboard!

westmarine.com and JamestownDistributors.com might be able to help a bit. There are many more that others will no doubt recommend.

kind regards,

Jamestowndistributors.com, Defender.com, Sailorsolutions.com, landfallnavigation.com . I avoid West Marine whnever possible, they are typically much more expensive for the same items than the ones listed above.

FYI to all the forum,

Interestingly enough, I filled out an email survey regarding my purchase from West Marine where they asked where else I shop, and why. When I replied with the two online sites I mentioned above, I received an email telling me they want my business and will price match!

A week or so later, I heard a salesman in West Marine state the same thing--I guess if you don't know any better they will take your money, and if you do they will give you the better price!

Have dealt with most of the companies mentioned but give most of my business to Defender Industries, www.defender dot com. Great customer service, good support for any returns or exchanges, pretty good tech support and nice people to boot.

I second Defender, but West is around the corner so it is convenient if time is a factor.
