Looking for a a day of sailing!

Hey there,

Me and my lovely wife are interested in the sailing idea. I have briefly sailed in the islands and we are going to be in Santa Rosa next week from May 13-20th. We were toying around with the possibility of somebody taking us out for a sail, to see how we like it! If anybody lives in that area and is open to the idea please feel free to let me know!

Hi OhNo and welcome to the forum. Bet you can find someone to take you up on the sail but, in case you haven't spent much time on the forum, it is quite international. So Santa Rosa?

One in California just north of San Francisco so sailing on the bay?

Santa Rosa Beach in the Florida panhandle so sailing in the Gulf of Mexico?

Santa Rosa Italy just south of Naples so sailing in the Mediterranean?

Probably a few more I haven't heard about.

Well I would say hop on I-10 and ride over to Jacksonville and go south a couple of miles to Green Cove Springs and I would take you out BUT I'm out of the water this week painting the bottom.

Now if you want to know what boat ownership is really like, come on over and I'll give you a paint roller.
