Looking at a Lagoon 380 in the Med

Hi, I am looking to leave home in April 2012 when my last child starts her second year at university. I am looking at buying a boat, probably a lagoon 380 or maybe a 400, in the Med and crusing for 6 months of the year for a few years.

I sail a 20ft Farr trailer sailer in the harbour here ..just outside the harbour Cook Strait can be some of the wildest water in the world. I have done 20 charters though around new Zealand, the Whitsundays in Australia, Tonga, and Greece as well as barging in France. Most of the trips have been women only though I am taking my kids to the WHitsundays next week.

I am interested in finding more about the lagoon 380 or 400, dry storage in the Med, cruising costs etc. Also interested in making contact with women only boats. Happy to give information to anyone interested in chartering in New Zealand , Tonga or the Whitsundays.

Welcome to the forum Murihika...
What a wonderful plan!
You may consider starting a thread in the Multi hull forum...lots of good folks and good info there.

Welcome, Murihiku (what does that mean?) - nice to meet you! Oh, and why only women? (Apart from the obvious, like 'we're nicer')
