Decided to register and be able to take advantage of the info sharing and camaraderie. Sailing a Sabre 30 on Ches Bay, planning to retire this year from military and cruise...I'm sure this forum will help!

Re: Logging In

Welcome Bob; As I said to another recent member, I used to sail the Chesapeake when we lived in North Potomac, Md and it really is one of the most beautiful places on earth. You came to the right place to share experiences and advice and I'm sure that you will enjoy the interchange of information on all the forums here. Safe sailing to you, James

Re: Logging In

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Thanks for your service. There are quite a few former military folks here. I don't know a think about iPads or laptops but there are a few other threads under forums that cover those new fangled do dads.
kind regards,

Not the right Bob here , but I will chime in anyway . absolutely luv my ipad . Its not a substitute for a computer , if you have serious work to do , but if ya just want another gps chart plotter , our want yuo watch a movie , our just plain have fun with something , ipad is thee only way to go . Have charts and tides on mine , for access to the active captain data base , and navionics for route planning , gets the job done , and can't beat the kindle app , lot less room and weight than a couple hundred books .
