Living the Dream

Greetings from Living the Dream! We are a 39' Gulfstar Sailmaster. We purchased her a 1 1/2 years ago in MD and had her trucked across to IL where we lived a the time. We are still new to sailing (although we have been dreaming about it for 11 years). We moved to MN last September and had to take our first "big" voyage on her all by ourselves to move her from IL to MN. It took us 12 days and we had a good time finding out what she would do and how she would handle in rough waters (we sailed through 3 small craft advisories). We arrived safe and are looking forward to moving aboard and sailing away to ports unkown soon. Any advise for the novice with big dreams would be appreciated.

Congratulations on being brave enought to take the plunge, so many just dream and never do.

Enjoy living your dream, learning new things each day, and exploring new horizons.

Fair winds
