Let me introduce myself...new to sailing

I'd went sailing in December and loved it!!! Now I'd like to chase my dream of cruising the ocean waters. I figure the way to do that is a variety of ways.

Join a sailing forum, watch Youtube videos, read books and so many other things.

I'm a great cook. I learn quickly and hard working. I'm sociable, kind, and a non-smoker.
If I were to find a life partner in the process I'd be in heaven.
I live in Western Washington just south of the rain forest. I have a small dog and cat, the cat I can find a sitter for, but my little dog goes everywhere with me.

If you'd like to know me more please contact me.
Happy sailing!

Re: Let me introduce myself...new to sailing

I remember that feeling after my first day of sailing not too long ago. Now, after the blown head gasket, leaky keel bolts, chipping paint, clogged head, faulty wiring and rotted deck I sometimes forget it. I haven't lost it but I sometimes forget it. Thanks for reminding me.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here. I didn't know Western Washington had anything but rainforest. Sailed down the Columbia October '12 and am originally from Oregon. Have sailed the Straits too. PNW offers a lot of great sailing opportunities.
kind regards,

Yes there is. The rain forest that I'm just south of is on the upper tip of WA state about 20 miles from Victoria, BC.

Then there is Eastern Washington and it is its own beast.
