Kentucky girl new to sailing

Greetings from a Kentucky girl (yes, we wear shoes here
who has never sailed. I will be sailing, however, in early June with a group of 8 to the BVI's. We have reserved a Lagoon 410 for this voyage. Any advice for a first timer and city girl? Love learning all I can about this adventure!

So, Blue Grass-Skirt

One hand for the boat and one for yourself! Is the common rule so as to keep you on the boat. The boat you folks have reserved will not heel much at all so the holding on part is deminished only by the fact that you should it anyway.
As mentioned have a great time, spend as much time as you can driving the boat while calling out instructions to the guys below to bring you another beer.
I am not sure if you are one who feels the human body is to be clothed or not but you will realize that a bear body feels much better than one with a bunch of straps holding up a bunch of stuff wanting to get free.
Go have a great time, live like there is no tomorrow, dance like there is no one watching and love like you're are a porn star.
Everything in moderation, recovery is a bitch.
