KC7CC , 62 W.M. , E.E.

I tinker with electronics and computers
but NOT IBM PC . Bill Gates will pay for
his sins . My WXP does NOT work .

-------
I work too hard , i should be retired ( i did
in 1990 ) .
Where is my peer group ?

I should do some sailing , its good for ya .
Maybe build a 40' tri' with folding floats...
7" wide and FAST ... Beachable ....
PathFinder modified to Atkison cam timing.
Have you ever hand started a diesel on
propane ? Atkison is like a compression release.
Atkison works much better on gas engines ,
where pumping losses are really serious .
--------------

I think ill head to Gulf coast and crew out .
I dont race .
Im not a Liberal , so i dont steal , carry my
own bags , cause i find them easy to carry ,
dont read books on how to sail , nor
how to talk .
---------

But i am very interesting to talk to !!
Im an idea man , inventor .
I'll be doin a Free OpSystem for ARM soon.
You can program it from the tiny 8KB loader !
You can't program it in English , nor ASCII .
Here , im looking for s/w peers...
----------
Doin a fold up bike . It dont use sprockets
so you can change gear ratio in one stroke
.... more range.

Im into health , im healthy , my Dad was
6'1" Texan , 210 lbs , slim , perfect health ,
so i get his genes .
Spent 2 years in Costa Rica in 1960 .
No greener spot on earth , nor better WX .
Mexico is safer !
Spent 5 years in Thailand , wont go back .

Paul Jones is only a Email cover ....

Chat ? werty swissinfo org is slow way
But dont make it look like all the other
adverts , i may miss it !

Later ..

Aloha KC7CC,
Welcome aboard!! We're the same age but since I don't know half of what you were talking about then we're probably not peers. I don't invent things I just make things work or throw/give them away.
Hope you enjoy it in this forum. We talk mainly about sailing/cruising/boats and marine equipment but will occasionally throw in a comment about other stuff. 6'1" 210 Doesn't sound thin to me at 6'2" 190 although since turning 60 I've filled out at the belt line a bit more.
Kind Regards,
JohnL

Im a work-aholic .. Electronics .. and other
inventor ideas ....
Want 100 MPG from your car ? Increase engine
size . Ha ha ha ,
yeah , i know , STOP WORKIN' ! Start funning ..

I spent every waking monent from
1980 til 1998 building my 40 foot ocean
hopper , to spend time in Asia , scouting a wife ..
I built hundreds of new designs .
I build boats , like a MB builds cars ..
No excuses , nor short cuts , so it would have
taken me at least 4 years to float it ..

Then i jumped a plane and spent 5 years
in Thailand , then i changed my mind .
Why scout , why not just find a nice place
to live , and let them chase me . I got $$ ,
so one should come along soon ...

I think MX is as good as it gets , simply
stay off the drug routes , and i can find peace .
Im a real peaceful type , carry my own bags ,
dont rely on anyone .. Love ppl .
If you are a Liberal , go figure . Ha ha ha ha ..
I used to talk alot on Ham Radio , hand-held ,
'cause there used to be lots of creative Hams
on the air , today , few .
I am an antenna expert , can cobble up , a
hi-gain antenna from coat hangers .
BTW Dont waste your time on H.F. super-duper
$500 , work-all-bands ..
Cause pointing it in the wrong direction ,
may work better ! "Anti-pode", Great circle...
Electronics is fun , after ya figure what dont work.
I have $10,000 in parts and pieces , id like to
invent with . Like nite cameras for SailBoats ..
They all use CCD's , but DIGITAL , so i got some
Analog B&W , $20 and will make a "nite" vision
camera for boats . They are far more sensitive
than Color , DigiCams . Just a bit less than
those "trick" $200 , Russian surplus "star-lite"
scopes .
Being analog , they can be much faster , one could
use one to steer his car on the hi-way .
GPS can be modified . Its a simple math thing
to guess where the "dither" will go .
At times , it can be within 1 meter , if it has been
on for a few minutes , and you are mixing the
depth sounder into the computer ...

Inventing is FUN !!

UPS truck !! , $1800 in Kyocera panels just
arrived . Now i have 375 Watts ...

Later ...
