Just got here

Currently living aboard and crusing in the Pacific North West, Columbia River, Salish Sea. One of my neighbors is a monitor and sent me the link so I'm here.

Re: Just got here

Hi and welcome to CF. The sun is just rising over a frosty but clear England so you must be up early this morning.

Re: Just got here

I can find that if I use search. In the upper left is the path; Cruisers & Sailing Forums > Social Groups > Manufacturer Groups > Gemini Catamarans.

If I go to "Cruisers & Sailing Forums" I cannot find it. I see a "Manufacturers Forums" but Gemini is not listed.

I don't see Social Groups anywhere in the listings.

What am I missing?

Re: Just got here

In the navigation bar under the top bar there is a link to community and social groups is one of the drop downs.

OK

But it still took me a bit even though I had directions.

I can do it.

Someone coming to the site and looking at forums to peruse would probably not.

Re: Just got here

I agree, the site is complex and somethings are hard to find. There are little nooks and crannies everywhere.

Re: Just got here

You got me there. I use both of those and under quick links, todays posts and they are all different, which makes sense since that's why they exist, but how they differ? I don't know.

The portal page is the latest updates to all discussions.

The new posts lists is for stuff you haven't seen yet. If you clicked on a thread from the portage, it will not show on the new posts lists unless it's been updated with a new [post since the last time you looked.

To see a list of all new stuff since your last log in, look under the quick links drop done menu for 'todays posts'
