Just Arrived: Sailingking

I am not quite the sailing king yet :-) but the other names were taken! Interested in purchasing a boat this month, but am now realizing it will take a little longer than buying a new car after searching the market. Saltwater, Florida Panhandle, and am now narrowing it down to about 30 to 37'. Lots of Hunters and I like what I read. I am pricing less than $30K which puts me in the 70's and 80's boat range, but have seen some with quite a few goodies and well kept in that price range. Weekend sailor for now, long term plan is live aboard, and a little Carribean fun. Send me any good links I should read/check out on these forums! Good to meet you!

Welcome to the forum sailingking22.
You can find lots of good info in past threads by using the search function....the second box "Google" is the best as far as I'm concerned.
Good luck with your boat search.

Aloha and welcome aboard!

Just take a look at a couple links after my signature and the book recommendation.

Good luck in your search. I recommend sailing a bit before purchasing a boat but however you do it getting out on the water is great.

regards,
