It's getting exciting!

Hi I am from the Uk. I currently have an offer on my house and I'm waiting for the sale to complete so me and my husband can purchase a yacht to live aboard. We are looking for a boat and after 5years of looking at desirable yachts, mostly online, now we really want one there doesn't seem to be anything suitable available. Maybe we are more picky now.We are quite keen on a Ferretti Altura 422 and hope to find one in the Med.

Wow, the realisation of dreams! Good luck with that! There was one for sale recently in the Netherlands at Valk yachtbrokers, but unfortunately, it was sold.

Good luck.

Every boat is a compromise, and second hand condition is definitely one of the compromises. You might want to list all the boat requirements in order of priority and then factor in money and time to bring a boat up to the desired condition and equipment level.
