Introductions

Not too sure what I am doing but I suspect I start here. I have many, many years of cruising experience. However, we never know it all and I think this forum is an excellent way to find the answers to questions from people who are actually cruising, not the local marina adviser.

WELCOME aboard, upsidedown.

As the local marina adviser, and know it all*, let me say that whilst it's a wise man who profits by his own experience, it's a good deal wiser one who lets the rattlesnake bite the other fellow.

* Like Dave Barry, "I can win an argument on any topic, against any opponent. People know this, and steer clear of me at parties. Often, as a sign of their great respect, they don't even invite me."

Gord, I think you have too much free time on your hands and you should start heading "southbound"
