Intro to Forum - Canada to Carib

Hello All,

We are new to the forum. My husband and I own a small cabin cruiser (we aren't sailors). We dream and are planning to live aboard (a larger cruiser of course) when we retire. If not full time, part time (snowfish ), escaping the winters in Canada. We have been dreaming of doing the Great Loop for a few years now and eventually settle in the carib somewhere.

We currently have a 26' Cadorette and live on the Trent Severn Waterway (TSW) in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. We have cruised up the TSW into Georgian Bay and down the TSW into the Bay of Quinte.

We realize we have much to do to prepare for such an adventurer and thanks to forums like this one, the planning may take shape sooner than later!

Cheers!

I have to write this as I thought it: "Welcome aboard the 'Compromise'!" What an unusual name for a boat, but how true!

Good luck with all your plans, as well as welcome aboard CF. Please feel free to ask questions, as most of the posters are quite happy to try and help.

Cheers,

Ann
