Inside Out

Greetings,

I keep finding myself perusing the forum's excellent resources, so decided to register. My cruising grounds are in SE Alaska. One of my goals over the last several years has been to visit area hot springs in reverse alphabetical order. That has not always been possible, so I just rename them as I go. (I just wanted to let you know your charts may be out of date.)

I'm happy to become a member! Am usually off grid, so please forgive my slow responses...

Diane

Thanks, Donna - will do! The Denali Rose is beautiful. It was our good fortune to visit Wrangell last summer - we were completely charmed and will definitely be back. I'm itching to float the Stickeen and check out the mega bird migrations and Anan Creek (although I suppose I'd best leave the bear dog on the boat for that..)

I'll swap you notes on hotsprings. I once traded a hand drawn chart from the '70's that was easily a 10th generation photocopy for an otherwise uncharted cove near springs for a 5 gallon jerry of outboard gas. It was worth more than that, of course, but at the time, the gas was priceless - and I have more photocopies.
