In the offing - shore to ship!!!

Hi, just joined today and delved straight into seeking help.... forgive my rudeness.

Now let me take the time to introduce myself. My name is Louise, a Scot's lass who has planted herself in South America... a lover of nature and peace and quiet.... and to get away from the humdrum of a big city, learnt to sail last year and is now planning to buy a boat, possible live aboard and then let's see where the wind takes her...

No, not known for doing things by half, and is in fact shaking in her boots - with both excitment... can't wait to get started..... learning that is..... and apprehension.....and there is a lot to learn...

I am grateful in advance for all the help that comes my way via this forum and hope one day I will be able to offer my advice and experiences to others...

Look forward to meeting whoever along the way....

Welcome aboard. I wish you the best in your future adventures. There is indeed a lot to learn and with time, patience and the acknowledgment to oneself that there is always more to learn, you will do fine for yourself.
