Hybrids

Hi
Jane and Bob have finally taken the plunge and bought a Lagoon 420 Hybrid - does anyone have nay idea what a good spares inventory for these electrci engines is?

Welcome aboard! I don't know anyone with an electric engine who didn't design their own so can't help but I'd certainly be interested in how yours performs.

So I've got a hybrid automobile that regenerates the large Lithium Ion battery in the trunk through a combination of regenerative braking/coasting and using the "extra energy" from the engine when accelerating.

On a sailboat I'd imagine that you'd want to cut out the first two ways of charging the battery because that would cause drag, so does the battery only recharge from the conventional engine?
