Howdy to all from beautiful Florida

Another new one hits the docks. Getting closer to retirement and a slower pace. Been looking at trawlers for a few months. Not in a rush, want to make sure we get the right one, the first time. Commercial fished and ran charters years ago, had kids, moved inland, but still get salty as much as possible. Look forward to chatting and learning from all the "old and young salts" here.

Welcome tdog1. There are a lot of great people and a lot of good information on this site, though mostly sailboats. I think there is a companion trawler site that can be found at the bottom of the page. Not to run you off or anything like that.

Not to worry, there's plenty to learn here as well. I do frequent multiple forums, always something new to learn. Be well

Re: Howdy to all from beautiful Florida

Welcome. We are currently in Florida and have spent lots of time here cruising on our former sailboat and now our current trawler. Good luck in the boat search and new cruising grounds. Chuck
