Howdy Good People, Let me introduce myself

Howdy!

I've been trolling these forums for going on well over 2 years now!! Wow time fly's. I've just wrapped up an enlistment with the Air Force and am now waiting on going to technical school for the Air National guard as a Meteorologist. About 3 or so years ago I found my self looking at sailboats and dreaming of an adventure. Of learning the "ropes" and taking off for new places.

I want to sail the deep blue, visit shores far and wide north and south. I've steadily started saving but on my pay its rough. Reading these forums I find my self leaning towards smaller mono-Hull older cruisers. Using people like Adam Baldwin as inspiration. He did two Circumnavigations in a Pearson Triton!

I'm sure I will have a ton of questions for you all as a finally start getting close to my first boat, gaining the skills knowledge and experiance need to work towards my goal. I might not know much about boats, but I'm fair handy with a computer Hardware and Software. So feel free to shoot me any questions.

So rock on and spread a little positivity today. Laterz

: I imagine that's so, sir.

Kaylee: "Well, that's good... right?"
Zoe: "Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans."

Zoe Alleyne Washburne, played by Gina Torres, is second-in-command onboard “Serenity”.

Aloha Captain Shack,
Thanks for serving in the Air Force and welcome aboard! Good luck at becoming a weather guesser. They certainly are becoming more accurate these days. Pearson Tritons are great boats and several have come through here from the West Coast headed for the South Pacific.
Kind regards,
JohnL
