Howdy from Kemah Tx

Hi I'm Rob and I just moved to Kemah in order to finally take up my passion for sailing. I took the ASA 101 course about 6 years ago then life got in the way for a while. Now I'm back and scheduled for the ASA 103-106 classes over the next month or so. In the meantime I would love to meet local sailors and make friends in the community. I'm available to crew if anyone needs an extra hand. I plan to buy something in the near future. Looking at monos in the 32-35' range so if anyone has something in that range and wants to show off their boat I would love to take a look just to get a feel for what different boats there are and what people like/dislike about them. Feel free to contact me, rob@twma.org

Peace to all and fair winds,
Rob

Welcome to the forum Rob. Yachtworld.com and your local craigslist is a great place to start looking for a boat.

Re: Howdy from Kemah Tx

Thanks for the welcome, looking forward to meeting. I went out and looked at several boats today and now I'm hoping to get into something a little bigger maybe 35-40 ft. We'll see how it goes...

Re: Howdy from Kemah Tx

Hello and welcome! I just bought a Morgan 41 in Kemah and absolutely love it. I moved from Fort Worth where I owned a Columbia 30 on a local lake. Take a look at the boats Little Yacht Sales has for sale. They have a good variation of sizes.
