Howdy folks, its good to be here. I am new to the forums, I currently have a Powerboat(Don't hurt me) but my heart is in sailing. If anyone needs a crew mate going up, down the ICW or Offshore and your in the Savannah, Ga area please look me up.

Howdy Somedaysomeway. I used to go out in my friend's powerboats before I bought a sailboat. I love the quietness of sail though getting places is so much more complicated and slow. Can't just drive straight to it. On the other hand, I have paddled a kayak for years on coastal outings and compared to that, I love all the extra space on the sailing boat and the fact that the bow wave doesn't come from muscle power.

Welcome to the other side. I sold my power boat about 2 years ago and now I know why us blow boats don't like a stink potter to blow past us with a large wake....... The drink spillage is much larger on a blow boat.

Welcome aboard. I agree, sailing is more relaxing - but if you have to get to B quickly, there's no comparison, you need a powerboat!
