Howdy!

Ok-I'm coming out of the closet. I've been lurking and reading posts on the site for several months. I guess I need to come out of the shadows and say "Hi" to all. I've enjoyed all of the great discussions and hope to benefit from the wisdom of several of the posters. I have a 40 Endeavour that my wife and I cruised from Fla to Grenada for 18 months back in the early 90's. An unexpected child has kept us landbound for several years but we're-at least me-are getting the itch again. So I guess that's it. Here we are.

Arrrghh-I finally figured it out-my girlfriend-now wife-kept running around the boat san clothes. I guess nature just took its course! Anyway, little one is 11 so it's getting to be about the right time to plan next trip-maybe a year cruise w/home schooling for the youngan. Thinking about selling my girlfriend(the fiberglass one) and gettin something a little different.

Welcome aboard. It's hard to sail much in Kentucky. We moved from Georgetown to North Carolina about 2 1/2 years ago and it was a good decision. Of course, we retired so living near job opportunities is not a priority, but there are a lot of people who keep their boats here and work in the Raleigh area.

This is a great site for folks who suffer from the same affliction we do-boat addiction. Ky is certainly not a sailing destination, except perhaps Ky. Lake. We have a house in Cape Coral Fl on a canal where we keep the boat. Hope to move there sooner than later.
