My name is Jim. Many years ago, I grew up in the north east US where I spent a lot of time on the
water in boats of various descriptions, both for
work & for pleasure.
Over the years my travels have taken me to a great variety of places. The last 10 years or so, I was living in the desert south west, so my
boating kind of dropped off a bit, to say the least. I now find myself living back on a coast & getting back to the boats as time permits.
I found this forum quite by
accident, while I was researching admiralty
anchor designs. It looked like a nice place to visit again, so I decided to join. I hope that the people here will enjoy my company.
