Just stumbled across your site while surfing the web and instantly liked it, informative, easy access, active are just a few of the characteristics I liked.
I'm a Northwest sailor with allot of Local Knowlege for you that want to ply these waters. Plan on moving to livaboard status with offshore in mind and looking for that right fit in a sailing vessel. So far it looks like a 35 or 38 Wauquiez. Pretorian or Hood. But that could change as I become more informed with my relentless obsession..........any cure for this : ).

Welcome aboard!! I know you're going to love this forum of addicts. I would not look at many boats over the 36 foot range unless you are going to cruise with a large familly aboard.
Camano Island within sight of Whidbey Island? Just got my hair cut yesterday by a woman from Camano Island. She now resides here on the windward side of the Big Island in Hawaii.

Yes Skiprjohn, its nestled right between Whidbey and the mainland, I took in Whidbey Island Race Week last week. Good advice on the 36' range and it should help me over the hump in making a decision when that time comes....theres so many.

Hello Being:

Spent honeymoon on Whidbey. Love that area. Think I would like to retire there someday. Welcome aboard. May be going thru there in the next few weeks buying a boat in Vancouver BC. Have some property on Whidbey and need to make sure it is still there.

Hi Charlie,
Should be up sailing(motoring75%) in canada for a few weeks myself, probably to Nanaimo and maybe cross the straits to Vancouver for a few days , take advantage of some of that free front seat moorage in False Creek, can't beat it. The best of luck on your purchase.
