If you're at sea, any hurricane ought to be pretty scary! I've only experienced them from 50 miles inland and that was enough one time to blow out our (taped up) bedroom window.

I am in the study process for my ticket so I will be off the site for a week I HOPE... It's like getting my drivers license so crazy what they ask.

I didn't mean hope that I would be away but more that the studies won't keep me away...

Good to have you here and good luck on your 100 ton exam. Now about delmarrey's pics: He was just funnin' with ya unless you think he looks like his avatar. I think everyone here knows how much work boats really are and no one dresses like that except on Halloween.
You've got a great bunch of experience and we'd all like to hear. I've got 3 hurricanes/typhoons under my belt but all done in Navy ships. The destroyers were tossed around like corks and I always wondered what it would have been like in smaller boats.
