Hi There from New Grad

Hi there. I don't sail yet and I've never sailed before in my life. I'm coming to the end of my university degree and looking at my options for where to go from here and it all seemed so utterly meaningless until the thought of sailing popped into my head and since then I've been reading and watching all that I can and nothing has shaken the idea out of my head.

So now I'm looking for a job so I can buy a boat, take some lessons and be a liveaboard. I'll take her out at the weekends and get my confidence up while earning money before leaving. Don't know where I'll go yet, wherever the wind can take me I suppose.

After many years of hard work it's sort of natural to want to take a deep brath and evaluate options. Congratulations on your successful educational career.

Try to visit sailing clubs in your area and get a feel for things. Who knows you may end up catching a ride...
