Hi there!

I am new to your forum and unfortunately not quite new to sailing... yet!
It has always been a dream of mine to live aboard a sailing boat and with enough time and experience, be a full time world cruiser.
My life is nearing a point in where this dream can become a reality. I have only began to discover how much there is to know. With the help of research, smart people such as yourselves and the (hopefully) upcoming purchase of a boat, I can make such crazy ideas become a reality.
I am un-experienced with sailing vessels but have spent much time aboard power boats in Washington State's wonderful lakes, rivers and coastlines.
This boards archives have been wonderful in abstracting as much information as possible, but I will have questions of my own no doubt, so it was time to register and I am now saying hello!

Welcome aboard, ask any questions ya want. I unfortunately do not have many answers, but I am not lacking on opinions.

Cheers

Bill

but I will have questions of my own
The dream can be a plan for action where there are questions! The questions start out hard and the answers easy and then the questions get easy and the answers get hard. In the end the questions are too hard and you just go sailing because you know why and how. The why part never really gets 100% answered if you do it right.

Lots here to look at and your own questions means something is starting to happen. The trick is making it something that works for you.
