Hi Sailors, from Milano, Italy

hello bunch of sailors!

Just few days ago googleing"wind pilot" I found this outstanding forum dragging me to outstay longer up to lose the horizon of my search. This forum it's like the Aladin's cave displaying a lot of useful informations.
Anyways I'm an Italian MD, 57 yrs old, really mad for sailing.I own a 41.1 feet Hanse and as usual I sail to Greece and Turkey with my wife or alone if she's fed up with sailing(and/or with me). When winter comes I sail with a class 22 with a friend of mine in the windy Como and Garda lakes near Milan where i'm born and where I live.Furthermore since 2 yrs I begun get Gibraltar and Atlantic charts and pilot books worrying my suspicious wife about my insane thoughts so I tried to explain the stuff was for a rummage sale but very early she understood my real will. So I introduce myself to this bunch of sailors because I need to get hold of you learning from experiences, trips and tricks, log books and just reading and asking what may be useful for my Atlantic crossing on late 2011 .
fair winds ...sailors
your Claudio
