Hi I'm new here
Is this an international forum or will I mainly hear from other Australians?

Re: Hi I'm new here
Hi Georgie,
Plenty of people from everywhere, seems like this forum is truly international, although Aussies seem pretty well represented, especially in anchor forums.

Hi Georgie and welcome to the forum. There are people from all nationalities and locations here.
There are lots of Australians because we are such good sailors, modest too.

Generally posts in the thread are better, that way everone benefits, but you can send a individual a personal message (a PM) if the message is of a more private nature.
You can also add a "thanks" with a short message, if someone has taken the trouble to try and sort out a problem

Re: Hi I'm new here
Aloha and welcome aboard!
How you posted in your post #11 here lets folks know that you appreciate the welcomes.
This thread is for "meets and greets" as you know already. There are lots of other threads for different subjects. If you have the time to do some reading there's a lot of interesting stuff. Just go up to the top bar and click on forums to see what's available. If you already done that then disregard.
kind regards,
