Hi from Windsor, Ontario, Canada

Hello All!
My husband and I have just purchased a Moody 46'...she is a beautiful ship that we are attempting to return to her former glory. She needed some tlc, but overall is in superb shape!
Call us crazy, but she's our first sailboat so we are not only newbies to this site we are also newbie sailors! (Captain Dave says he's too old to start small!) Needless to say, we have a LOT to learn, but are very eager, so any advice would be welcome!
I love reading everyone's stories and look forward to posting some of our own along with some pictures in the near future.
We are from Windsor Ontario, Canada

Welcome from another Canadian, we're currently in the UK but we still have our cottage on Kennebec Lake near Arden Ont. You will find this to be a super site for info and advice. James

Aloha and welcome aboard!
That is a big jump. Lots to learn and especially rules of the road and big boat docking procedures.
Hope we can help.

Re: Hi from Windsor Ontario, Canada

Hello from just down the river! We live in Amherstburg, and just joined this forum as well. Our boat is in Blind River, ON on the north channel of lake Huron. Are you planning on some instructional courses, ie navigation or do you already have those? The Moody is a beauty boat, if you ever need some deck hands, let us know, we'd be happy to join you! Happy sailing!
