I hope to meet you all along the way. My wife has done some sailing but wants to find her sea legs, so we will be in the area for a year, testing out the boat and replacing what needs to be replaced. You may have already seen Palindrome in the area as the previous couple sailed her quite extensively and spent some time in Barkley Sound on the West coast of the Island.

We are thinking of changing her name to "Ally May", as we both like feminine names for sailing boats and it will be nice to start our (hopefully long) history of the boat with a new name.

The intention is to head south next spring, spend some time in Mexico and then head West. It has always been a personal ambition to see the Galapagos Islands and the Marquesas ever since "Southern Cross' by C.S. & N.
