Hi from the Turkish Coast !

Hello!

I tried sailing for the first time 4 years ago persuaded by my fiance. You know how this story goes:

"You see! We've just spent a gorgeous week in the summer in Lake Ontario's Thousand Islands with 15 knot winds, sun, and magical anchorages with easy anchoring!"

"Now that you've tried, do you want to come sailing with me? To Bahamas?"

"Excellent! Let's go the long way, around Nova Scotia as it's very beautiful there!" [twice the distance when compared to going through canals]

We've been on the boat since and still together.

About this forum: I have to admit, I've searched it a lot of times and almost always have found a worthwhile advice, humour, and positive outlook.

Now I'm ready for participation

Now in and around Bodrum. In September going to Didim or Marti marina to redo bottom paint (very cheap there during the summer season).

You?
