Hi, from Philadelphia

I have a 1984 Buccaneer18 dinghy that I fix it and I go sailing at Lake Nockamixon, Pennsylvania and Barnegat Bay, New Jersey. I don’t have enough time to make long trips on a bigger boat so I'm going to read your postings and dream about future.

Good Winds.
Relu

P.S. I have a short movie on youtube, search for: "Buccaneer18, Nockamixon" and this will conclude my presentation.

Hello, Relu, and welcome to Cruisers Forum!

Our former sailing club had a fleet of Flying Scots, very similar to the Buccaneer 18. One-design racing is a lot of fun. Here's the video you mentioned. Are you in it?

Relu,
Welcome to the forum. I sailed a Venture 22 from N.E. Phila to Sea Isle NJ. A lot of fun. I also sailed a lake in PA. Had a heck of a time putting it back on the trailer. Never went back to the lake.

Aloha and Welcome aboard!
Had an internet friend who sailed Lake Nockamixon. He enjoyed it on a O'Day 19 called a Mariner. He belonged to a sailing club there that was very active. It was Windward Sailing Club and they did some classes at a local Community College each year as a fundraiser. I think it'd be a good group to hook up with.
regards,
