Hi from Malta

Hi fellow sea people, this must be one of the first times I'm actually participating in a thread. Usually im just in and out for the info which BTW if it was not for you guys, I would never be where I am today.

About myself. I'm a wanderer. Can't stop imagining just cruising and living in my boat. Been planning and thinking to do this for some time now, and finally, the opportunity came along.

Just got me a motorsailer, Kemrock Channel 30 which I would like to travel in for a little.

The boat needs some TLC but apart from that, I figure it should be back in the water in 2 months, just in time for the beautiful summer we have in Malta.

I will be looking for some help along the way as I haven't managed to find much information about this specific motorsailer.

My main concern would be if she is blue ocean worthy but I guess I wouldn't really know until I have tried and tested its limits myself myself.

Anyways, I shall leave you be for the time being.

Hello From Jezza

Re: Hi from Malta

Hey guys, i wish I was able to start my journey from Croatia, but it doesn't make much sense. Im sure you will be passing from Malta on your way, be sure to hit me up.
I plan on leaving Oct/Nov. to be in line with the ARC crossing. I feel its safer that way.

Thanks for the link Gordmay

Dunno if you found this.. seems she's more motor than sail but.. should be more than capable of cruising the Med in summer..

I'd agree with Boatman. Seems like a good boat for the Med if you pick your routes with low wind speeds. I'd be a little worried about "blue ocean" though. It doesn't appear to be built for that.

I'm really - really looking forward to visiting your home port this summer. It looks awesome. Welcome to the forum.
